(About us)
Behind Footework
We excel at cinematic storytelling through photographs and video that feel bold, nostalgic, emotional and gritty. What matters most to us, in the middle of all the action, is the people at the center of every story.

PHILOSOPHY
Our approach is photojournalistic.
We believe what drives an athlete, the voice that says keep going when you want to quit, isn’t just inside fighters.
It’s inside all of us.
We all have something we’re trying to overcome. We all have moments where we have to show up anyway when we want to give up or chase comfort.
That’s why every photograph feels personal.
Because when the lights go down and the mats are rolled up, what remains are the stories.
We believe they’re worth preserving.

I’m Drew Foote, founder of Footework Studios and the first lead photographer.
I grew up in southeast Arkansas near the Louisiana and Mississippi border, in a small town called Hamburg. From early on, I was obsessed with storytelling, music, theater, film, photography, anything that could capture what it feels like to be human.
Cinema shaped how I see the world. Photography gave me the tool to freeze it.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and later a master’s degree in professional counseling. I worked as a mental health counselor before stepping away to pursue photography full-time.
Because telling these stories matters so much.
That background changed how I shoot.
It taught me to look deeper. To see not just what someone is doing, but what they’re carrying inside while they do it.
That’s what I chase every time I show up with a camera.
And it’s what I challenge every shooter at Footework to look for too.
Not just the action.
But the person.

I'm Noah Strother, Creative Director at Footework Studios and Second Lead Photographer.
Arkansas born and raised, North Little Rock to be exact. I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a Photography emphasis at the University of Central Arkansas.
On every shoot, my goal is to capture the emotion and dedication behind whatever the subject is doing. I strive to convey not only the raw intensity of the main subject, but also the connections that develop between them and the people around them.
For me, photography is more than just taking pictures. It's about taking initiative to create a compelling story. Through each image, I aim to tell a story that resonates not only with me, but with the people I'm photographing and those who view the work.
